七夕

(Tanabata) is a traditional Japanese festival celebrated on July 7th each year. It commemorates the annual meeting of the deities Orihime and Hikoboshi, represented by the stars Vega and Altair respectively, who are separated by the Milky Way and can only meet once a year.

The festival has its origins in Chinese mythology and was introduced to Japan during the Heian period. It has since evolved into a unique celebration with various customs. One of the most popular traditions involves writing wishes on small pieces of paper, called tanzaku, and hanging them on bamboo branches. These wishes can range from personal aspirations to hopes for good fortune and health.

In addition to the wish-making ritual, Tanabata festivals often feature decorations, parades, and other festive activities. Cities like Sendai and Hiratsuka are especially famous for their elaborate Tanabata celebrations, attracting numerous visitors each year.

七夕 (たなばた) は、毎年7月7日に祝われる日本の伝統的な祭りです🎋。
天の川で隔てられた織姫と彦星（それぞれベガとアルタイルとして知られる星）が年に一度だけ会うことができる日を記念しています🌌。

その中でも特に人気なのが、短冊と呼ばれる小さな紙に願い事を書いて、
