end of october: entertaining new york, la tightening its grip

what an eventful two weeks since I last wrote! 

recent events this week / things on my mind :
- finished writing and recorded my first mango blood song w xtine
- met a bunch of new bangladeshi creatives in the LA art scene who I’m excited to connect with in the coming weeks
- had my first new york city job interview! (it went amazing)
- found a few new lovely spots in arts district (artisinal coffee residency, suay sew shop)
- met with old friends and semi new friends (and x tine’s 100 dollar bill hehe)
-started working on ‘acts of delicacy’ lamp series
- saw shintaro sakamoto live with some friends
- tried liu’s cafe taiwanese brunch spot by myself
- ate yoshoku hamburg steak in sawtelle
- ran into an old friend shu while on a walk at heavy water
- went on a five hour hike in the forest
- reading at heavy water, working on the chinatown short film script
-watching a new film tonight at now instant about ‘a different kind of man’ 
-started more seriously learning japanese
