As they have received a information about the swimming contest would be opened, Oshima and Tatsuko  were bound for the site near the high school.  On the way they had some wild strawberry that grew naturally in stead of the breakfast.

A swimming competition was not time trial, so you would complete swimming 100 meters, you could take the small batch made of tin for a prize in addition to sign the register That's all. Almost every people at the pool side cheered japanese girls enthusiastically.

Oshima did it, then jumped out from the swimming pool, taking a batch for her honor.  At the time she was about to write down her name on the register book, she was recommended to write in japanese kanji by the people surrounded her. As she wrote in kanji, they were looking , rapt in fascination. Oshima and Tatsuko were requested to write swedish name in kanji, so they tried to do a japanese kanji used as a phonetic symbol rather than for its meaning.

It was a jolly good day ! They went back home with swimming suits on
