Let me introduce myself briefly & Kyoto Diary #1
Hello, I'm Asuka. My nickname here is 'Teacher Asuka'. You can call me just 'Teacher Asuka' or 'Asuka-sensei' during my lesson. I've been teaching not only English but also Social Science for more than 15 years in Japan. I've been teaching English online named 'Cafetalk', one of the online-learning platforms since 2017.
I studied abroad in Britain for one academic year as a scholarship student. Moreover, I got my license to teach English to speakers of other languages at Arizona State University in 2017 and my teaching English online certificate of achievement from Cambridge Assessment English in 2022.

Well, I'll tell you something...one of my favorite things is 'Traveling'.
Today, I'll write something interesting to you about my Kyoto trip in August, 2017.
I will show you some travel diaries in English here from now on, so I hope you'll enjoy reading them.
By the way, do you like Kyoto?
Have you ever been to Kyoto before?
I really like Kyoto, one of the oldest cities in Japan. Especially, I do like its ancient atmosphere, Machi-ya, which is the old-style residence, lots of Old Temples and Shrines, beautiful scenery and so on.
Here are some photos as follows.
If you are interested in English’, I'll highly recommend you to take one of my 'Eikaiwa' English speaking lessons. I'll advise you here that all you have to do is to use just easy words and phrases you've already known whenever you speak English.
It's not so difficult if you get used to using it as much as possible in your daily life. Always keep in mind that the famous sayings as 'Practise makes a man perfect'.
I think the most important thing is to enjoy learning English🎶
Well...,let's learn and practise using English with me! Let's get started😊
That's all for today. Thank you for reading! I'll write my new travel diary to you in English next time as well.
See you next time!
Best wishes,
TeacherAsuka🎀
