Kyoto Diary #3 'Shourenin-Monzeki'
Hello,again. It's Teacher Asuka.
Today, I'll tell you about my trip to Kyoto part 3. This trip was in August 2017.
Because the weather was fine and the temperature was so high, I decided to go around the city centre, or downtown area by bus and underground, or subway rather than to take a walk.
At first, I went to a temple named 'Shourenin-Monzeki' which is located near 'Chionin-Temple'.The Shorenin-Monzeki is famous for its beautiful landscape.
The photos are as follows.
You can enjoy seeing such a nice view...a great and magnificient Japanese Garden. This temple is a part of Tendai-shu sect of Buddhism as well as related to Imperial Householed.
I had a Japanese powderd green tea called 'Matcha' and a kind of Japanese sweets called 'Manjyu' which is a bun with a sweet been-jam filling while seeing such a great view of its garden! I relaxed and felt very comfortable for a while.
After visiting the 'Shorenin-Monzeki' Temple, I took a bus to get to Gion area to have a little belated lunch.
I would like to have a 'Lemon-Rahmen Noodle' which is famous for the shop's most popular dish, but unfortunately they were sold out. I chose a 'Cold-Rahmen noodle' in the end. The photo is as below.
Finally, I went along the Kamogawa-river to a Cafe named 'Kawa Cafe', which means 'Riverside cafe'. You can enjoy seeing such a nice view from the Cafe.
That's all for today. I hope you'll enjoy reading this time as always.
