Regrets in Life

Lately, I've had many opportunities to reflect on my life, and I realize that my regrets can be summarized as follows:

  1. Not taking on challenges

  2. Not continuing new endeavors

  3. Procrastinating

  4. Not fully committing to tasks at hand

  5. Being self-centered

From my experience:

  1. Regarding challenges, I avoided applying to companies I truly desired during exams and job hunting due to the fear of rejection emails. Instead, I only applied to companies where I felt certain I would be accepted, thereby avoiding failure and setbacks.

  2. As for not continuing new endeavors, I started learning programming but quit after about a week, which resulted in a poor return on investment and wasted time.

  3. Procrastination prevented me from achieving results in areas like exam preparation, where serious effort could have led to success.

  4. When it comes to commitment, I often used excuses like the environment not suiting me or feeling that I wasn't cut out for the task, which led to me not tackling challenges seriously.

  5. Being self-centered caused me to focus only on myself, resulting in making friends feel uncomfortable.

Time once lost cannot be regained, but to avoid repeating the same mistakes, I want to live each day without regrets, whether I'm still young at 27 or already 27.
