Working as an installation supervisor assistant and an interpreter in Taiwan for 2 weeks.

I visited Taiman as a installation supervisor assistant and an interpreter. I was supposed to stay there 2 weeks as total and in the middle of the stay, I had to go back to Japan once.

About four (or five) years have passed since I joined the company.

This time, we outsourced the necessary system and software to a company in China at that time, which was our first time to do it.

Some engineers also came from China as installation supervisors and we also went there as supervisors. Except for the system, we already supplied the customer with our products and also checked the conditions of them. Checking conditions of the products is our responsibility (after-service), which will be opportunities to sell spare parts for the products depending on the conditions.

On the other hand, as for systems, I am not familiar with it, so I mainly interpreted what our boss needed to say to the customer as a installation (system) supervisor. Therefore, I memorized the name of the parts and technical terms needed to know for the interpretation.

The work was kind of tough and the
final day, I finished my work around 1 am.
(after getting approval from the factory manager.)

I finished writing the report around 4 am. and I took a nap.

On the flight to Japan, I drank a toast to myself...
