Wondrous Fantastical Snow

     Snow started last evening. As I watched outside from a window, the night sky glowed, so was the ground. The white matter covered almost everything. It’s interesting how the air was so still and calm, as if the snow covered the ugliness of human made damage; to heal like a ginormous bandaid. No cars nor humans were leaving traces on the powder sugar confection. Everything outside was still. Earth was messaging us, “OK, it’s time to take a break.” So we stayed inside to keep our family warm and safe.
     When I woke up, I found footprints on the snow from the front to back yard. A creature passed through a safe passage. No harm came to the creature, no cars, no humans.
