英語表現No25

この『Note』では、私がこれまでに学習してきた「英語表現」を例文とともに紹介していきます。

25回目の今回は、

・out of date
・have a ball
・hit the roof

の3つの表現です。

★out of date「時代遅れの」
（例文）
彼女の考え方は時代遅れだ。
Her views are out of date.

★have a ball「楽しむ」
（例文）
彼らは昨日パーティーを楽しんだ。
They had a ball at the party yesterday.

★hit the roof「かっとなる」
（例文）
私はその事実を知った時、かっとなった。
I hit the roof when I knew the fact.
