英語表現No46

この『Note』では、私がこれまでに学習してきた「英語表現」を例文とともに紹介していきます。

46回目の今回は、

・be acquainted with A
・at the age of A
・in retrospect

の3つの表現です。

★be acquainted with A「Ａと知り合いである」
（例文）
私は彼の友達と知り合いである。
I am acquainted with his friend.

★at the age of A「A歳の時に」
（例文）
彼女は15歳の時にフランス語を話すことができた。
She was able to speak French at the age of 15.

★in retrospect「今になって思えば」
（例文）
今になって思えば、彼らが言ったことは間違っている。
In retrospect, what they said is wrong.
