中国は月曜日、中国北部の山西省にある太原衛星発射センターから長征2号Dキャリアロケットを打ち上げ、4つの衛星コンステレーション「北京3C(Beijing-3C)」を予め設定された軌道に投入した。
これは長征ロケットシリーズの523回目のフライトミッションであった。

中国は月曜日、世界の宇宙天気予報のために、中国北部を拠点とする中緯度高周波レーダー・ネットワークの科学的検出結果の第一弾を発表した。このネットワークはSuperDARNの国際ネットワークに参加し、イギリスやカナダとのリアルタイムのデータ交換を実現することが期待されている。
