Do we need homework?

昨日までにDialogueのAlexとJulieの意見について纏めました。

Alex's opinion
Alex doesn't think students need homework because they already study hard at school. He has soccer practice after school. So, when he gets home, he is really tired and wants to relax.

Julie's opinion
Julie thinks homework is necessary because students can practice what they learned in class.
Homework helps students remember information. Doing homework will also help you to do better on tests. But she thinks you shouldn't study too hard.

Ananda's opinion
I don't think we need homework. Students should be able to choose what they need to review. For example, if you know you need to study math more, you could do math homework. But if you already do really well in science, you could skip it. Going to class may be enough. Since everyone learns differently. homework should be optional.

Vinay's opinion
I think we need homework. Homework is useful not only for reviewing what you already learned in class, but also for preparing what you will study next. When I was in school and we studied famous books, we had to read parts of them before class. Then, we were ready to discuss it together. I really enjoyed reading Shakespeare's plays, for example.
