New work "Strange People about East Asia's Good-bye" #1

Information about the new piece we will perform this year has been released, quietly.

As usual, I will write about this new piece. However, it's obvious that I will stop writing it soon, as usual. Then I will do this like once a month or so (for avoiding to get me tired)…

The new work will be a trial performance.

The title of the piece is "Strange People about East Asia's Good-bye" in English. This time it is a (trial performance).
Eduardo, who performed in "The Story of Descending the Long Slopes of Valparaíso", joins for the performance in São Paulo in the middle of July,
Miki, who performed in "Immigrant Ghost Stories", will perform in Naha, Okinawa, in mid-September,
Hikaru, who appeared in "Khao Khao Club Online (.mp4)", will perform in the Nagasaki performances on September 30 and October 1.
With the same title, each performance will be different. And next year or more later for the three of these actors/dancer (or probably more people and cities will join) to get together to make a full-production. That's why this year's performances are trial.
The outline of this project is written in the page of concept, I would be happy if you could read it.

What kind of work will it be?

One of my favorite authors is Roberto Bolaño, who was originally from Chile. But I am not like, I've read all of his works! I've only read a few of his works… Wait, I doubted it and checked then found out that I hadn't read any of his works until the end…! How could I say that he is my favorite…
Then "Nazi Literature in the Americas" I read recently became the book of Bolaño that I finally read to the end for the first time.

In short, the new piece (especially the title) is influenced by this book.

"The book presents itself as a biographical dictionary of American writers who flirted with or espoused extreme right-wing ideologies in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.""All of the writers are imaginary, although they are all carefully and credibly situated in real literary worlds."

I bought this book probably about seven years ago, but at the time, I couldn't read it at all because this dictionary-like style of the book made me sleepy immediately. And for some reason, this time I could read it in one sitting.
I am now thinking that each performer will play three roles in each different location. A total of nine fictional characters will speak something and move in some way.
Right now I am on the way to São Paulo from Japan to rehearse with Eduardo in particular.
For the performance in São Paulo, there will be no dialogue, but instead some form of written text like subtitles or a preface, or a text to be distributed.

I hope to write about the trip to Sao Paulo and about the experience there.
