ポートランド旅行 ①

またお会いできて嬉しいです！

今日は、ポートランド旅行の1日目についてお話します。

以前乗ったアムトラックよりもお洒落。。

実はポートランドに来るのは2回目です。

↑前回訪れた時。もう4ヶ月前だなんて泣。。

というのも、私はポートランドが大好きなのです。

ポートランドの街は、コンパクトシティとして設計されています。

そのため他の都市に比べ、街中を移動するのに時間がかかりません。

食事もコーヒーも買い物も何でもすぐに楽しめて、その利便性がとても気に入っています。

また、オレゴン州には消費税がありません。

そのため、欲しいものを全て税抜きで購入することができます。

それもポートランドの魅力のひとつだと思います。

とにかく、今日はポートランドでいろいろなことを楽しみました。

朝ご飯のハンバーガーステーキ

有名な書店。なんとAmazonが通販を始める前からネットで本を売っていたらしい。

ナイキのファクトリーストア。ナイキのルーツはポートランドにある。

友達が薦めてくれたドーナッツ屋。個人的には普通の味だった。

ドーナッツ屋近くの猫グッズ専門店。

また、シアトルに来るときは、この素敵な街にまた訪れたいと思います。

Today, I am gonna talk about the first day of the trip in Portland.

This is the second time coming to Portland.

That is because I love Portland.

The city of Portland is designed as the compact city.

Thus, compared to other city, it doesn't take for a while to go across the city.

We can enjoy everything such as food, coffee, shopping and stuff like that in a minute and I love the convenience. 

Additionally, we have no consumption tax in Oregon state.

Thus, we can buy what we want without tax.

I think that is one of the attractive points of Portland.

Anyway, I enjoyed lots of things in Portland today.

When coming back to Seattle in the future, I also wanna visit this city again.
