Heisenji Hakusan Shrine at the top
You can see the shrine by walking along the path through the linden forest and reaching the top. Heisenji Hakusan Shrine was built in 717, burnt down in 1574, and was rebuilt. The shrine is located inside a huge tree, and moss grows on the ground. Usually, we only visit the shrine that we see when we enter the torii gate, but there is actually another shrine behind it.
