For Those Considering Langkawi as a Travel Destination
I visited Langkawi for the first time, and it was so wonderful that I want to share my experience with those who are undecided about going. I really want to keep this place a secret, but if you want to relax on a beach away from the crowds, this is the destination for you.

Local Information
Weather
The weather was mostly pleasantly sunny. It was hot, but very enjoyable. Although the weather forecast showed rain for several days, it only rained early on the last day.

Beach
It was perfect! I think my choice of hotel was also good, as it felt like a private beach where I could relax without any worries. Here’s a photo taken during the day. Most hotel guests don’t seem to come for the beach, as there were almost no people.

Prices (Food & Drinks)
It was affordable. A 350ml can of beer cost about 4RM at a local drugstore-like shop. Meals at local restaurants ranged from 3RM to 10RM. Tourist restaurants are pricier, but still very satisfying for about 3,000 yen.

Restaurant Information
I definitely want to visit these places again.
Credit Card Usability
Many small shops also accepted credit cards. As for cash, I exchanged 10,000 yen at the airport in Langkawi, but since I mostly spent my time on the beach, I had about 3,000 yen left over.
Electrical Outlets
It's good to bring a BF type plug adapter. I bought a multi-converter plug for convenience. Bringing a multi-tap along with the plug adapter allows for multiple devices to be charged simultaneously, making your stay more comfortable. Here’s an image of a BF type plug:
Language
Most places spoke English. If you can speak a little, you won't have any trouble.
How I Used My Smartphone (SIM)
I use Ahamo, and I was able to use it locally without any issues! It worked within my usual plan, so I didn't need to buy a local SIM, making it very convenient.
Transportation
You can use Grab, which is very convenient, so make sure to register while you're still in Japan! This guide was very helpful, so if you haven't registered yet, please refer to it.
Packing List
I packed my belongings in carry-on luggage and a suitcase. This amount was just right. Many places have strong air conditioning, so it's good to be prepared for temperature adjustments. Don't forget sunscreen and insect repellent!

Summary
There are various hotel grades, but my total trip cost was around 150,000 yen. Despite the extremely weak yen, I had a very satisfying trip (It's been a week since I returned, but my heart is still in Langkawi. Having discovered the charm of Asian resorts on this trip, I'm already planning my next trip, haha).
I hope this information helps with your planning. Enjoy!
