1.Reason for studying TOEIC

I am an engineer at a company.
Employees are encouraged to study English to improve productivity.
The company says studying English will increase productivity.
If employees can speak English, employees no longer need an interpreter
and employees will be able to go overseas for business trips alone.

In addition, TOEIC scores as a condition to become managerial staff must be above the score is required. The company says it is necessary for manager to negotiate with customers without interpreter.

The TOEIC score required by the company is TOEIC Listening & Reading Test. It is a test of listening and reading ability. Although It is irrelevant to the ability of English conversation, I study English for TOEIC.
