天の御国（マタイによる福音書3章1－12節）

マタイによる福音書　3章1－12節洗礼者ヨハネ、教えを宣べる
1そのころ、洗礼者ヨハネが現れて、ユダヤの荒れ野で宣べ伝え、
2「悔い改めよ。天の国は近づいた」と言った。
3これは預言者イザヤによってこう言われている人である。
　「荒れ野で叫ぶ者の声がする。
　『主の道を整え、
　その道筋をまっすぐにせよ。』」
4ヨハネは、らくだの毛衣を着、腰に革の帯を締め、いなごと野蜜を食べ物としていた。
5そこで、エルサレムとユダヤ全土から、また、ヨルダン川沿いの地方一帯から、人々がヨハネのもとに来て、
6罪を告白し、ヨルダン川で彼から洗礼を受けた。
7ヨハネは、ファリサイ派やサドカイ派の人々が大勢、洗礼を受けに来たのを見て、こう言った。「蝮の子らよ、差し迫った神の怒りを免れると、だれが教えたのか。
8悔い改めにふさわしい実を結べ。
9『我々の父はアブラハムだ』などと思ってもみるな。言っておくが、神はこんな石からでも、アブラハムの子たちを造り出すことがおできになる。
10斧は既に木の根元に置かれている。良い実を結ばない木はみな、切り倒されて火に投げ込まれる。
11わたしは、悔い改めに導くために、あなたたちに水で洗礼を授けているが、わたしの後から来る方は、わたしよりも優れておられる。わたしは、その履物をお脱がせする値打ちもない。その方は、聖霊と火であなたたちに洗礼をお授けになる。
12そして、手に箕を持って、脱穀場を隅々まできれいにし、麦を集めて倉に入れ、殻を消えることのない火で焼き払われる。」

[ Worship in Akasaka Church ]

Every 2nd Sunday in a month, I and Hiroki Iwaskai praise the Lord in the service of Akasaka Church.
We compose and write lyrics based on chapter and verse of the sermon on that day.
This time we named the song "The Kingdom of Heaven" composed by Hiroki Iwasaki, Lyrics: Jun Kuramoto.

4 And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan,
6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.
7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:
9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
