Psychopaths, Androids, and Extraterrestrial Intelligence(9)
"An extraterrestrial intelligent life form?"
"Yes."
"How do we contact them?"
"I will pray."
"Can I contact them by praying?"
"I think so. Prayers and thoughts can become very strong energy. Einstein's theory of relativity says that energy and matter are converted alternately. Prayers and thoughts can be converted into various forms."
"It's hard to believe, but let's assume that K is right. So, will the extraterrestrial intelligent life form that received K's prayer contact us?"
"They have more advanced science than Earth, so I think they will contact us. They may even come to see us. I think their humanity is probably at the same level as I. When I experience this, I feel that extraterrestrial intelligent life exists. And I feel that they have already reached I."
I felt embarrassed. It was as if I was the big boss. Improving my humanity was my free ticket to space. So how can I improve my humanity? Even if I do volunteer work, I can't do it on the moon. It's dangerous to return to Earth. "Why don't you start by learning about I?"
"Okay."
I's book was stimulating. He was certainly the greatest giant in history. Just reading it made me feel like everything about me was purified. It was the first joy I'd ever had. Now I feel like I won't be ashamed to meet intelligent life outside of Earth.
Hideo Kobayashi lamented the fact that humans thought there was no intelligent life outside of Earth after watching the video of the Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969. He wrote that by thinking that there were no enemies in the universe, humans became absorbed in the struggle for supremacy within the Earth, that is, wars between countries.
The idea is that having an enemy outside brings people together on the inside. By this logic, if humans knew about the existence of intelligent life outside of Earth, they would stop fighting.
The Milky Way galaxy, to which our solar system belongs, is said to contain 100 billion to 200 billion stars like the sun. The stars contain planets like our solar system. It is said that there are two trillion galaxies in the universe. With so many stars, it's not surprising that there are planets like Earth out there, possibly harboring intelligent life.
