【伊豆半島-下田】爪木崎灯台｜[Shimoda] Tsumekizaki Lighthouse

伊豆半島の南東部にあり、須崎半島とも呼ばれている地域の先端にあります。駐車場から爪木崎灯台までは徒歩15分くらい、灯台までの道のりは日中は鮮明で辿り着けますが、外灯がないため、星空観察目的で行かれる場合はライトを必ず持参することおすすめします。日中は伊豆七島を360度見渡せて、夜中は他に外灯がないため、満天の星空や天の川も見ることができます。爪木崎灯台は「恋の灯台」とも言われており、恋する灯台プロジェクトにも認定されています。

Located in the south eastern area of Izu Peninsula, the tip of Susaki Peninsula. About 15 minutes on foot from the parking lot, awaits Tsumekizaki Lighthouse. The path to the lighthouse is clear and somewhat easy to walk, but since there is no lights leading to the lighthouse, you should bring a flashlight with you if heading there after sunset. You can enjoy a panoramic view of the Seven Islands of Izu during the day, and a star-filled night sky.
