This is the Sawara district of Katori City, where merchant houses from the Edo and Meiji periods still remain. This is where Katori City’s sightseeing rest area, Uwagashi small Park, opened in April.

It is located in the heart of the Sawara district’s Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. Located along the river, it is a machiya-style building designed in the style of traditional buildings.
It is a facility where anyone can casually drop in and take a breather.
Visitors are invited to tour the historic building from the inside, surrounded by the aroma of wood.
