9月24日(火)New Zealand Job Challenge Diary Day 1/0
(You can read it for free until the end!)
I hope everyone is well! This is SAI. With less than a month until my trip, I've been steadily preparing. I started preparing things like opening an account about three months in advance.so I wasn't able to get serious about it, I felt frustrating a bit.
I am currently in the process of opening a local bank account. This blog was probably the easiest to understand.(but Japanese article!)
https://yukilogu.com/nz-workingholiday-how-to-open-anz-bank-account/
I applied for an ANZ account online on September 4th and got a reply on September 16th, so there's a gap of about two weeks. I guess it can't be helped because they're closed on weekends. I feel like "Oh~ super late~ overseas system" haha
After you apply online, I will need the following information:
★★
・A copy of your Visa from Immigration New Zealand
・Your arrival date into New Zealand (DD/MM/YYYY):
・Previous country of residence before moving to New Zealand:
・Your preferred ANZ branch:
・You can locate an ANZ branch: anz.co.nz/locations
Document requirements:
To better protect your personal information, we encourage you to send any documents containing personal information as an attachment, for example as a PDF, XLSX or a JPEG file (no web links). If you’re unable to do this, please let us know.If an original document is in another language other than English, please provide the original document and a translated English copy at the same time. If you’re unable to do so, please let us know.

Things to note:
It may take up to 10 business days to process your application and open your account. We’ll let you know as soon as it’s opened.
To avoid any delays in processing your application, please ensure you provide all the required information before you reply to this email.
If we do not hear back from you within five business days, your application will be withdrawn automatically. You’ll then need to fill out another application, if you wish to proceed with an account opening.
★★
It said to reply within 5 business days, and the email came 8 days ago (a day has passed if you exclude bank holidays), so I replied super fast, so it feels a bit rushed.
So, "You made me wait for 2 weeks and then you wanted a reply within 5 business days!!!"
I felt that way too (seriously haha), but I want them to approve it even if it takes a little time to reply. I'm also looking forward to this reply, as it will give me some insight into the country's character.
I'll probably be so busy that I won't even be able to write about what happened with the account on Note, so please check out my Instagram stories!

I was searching and wondering if I could download the Working Holiday Visa in HTML format from the official website, but if I wanted to convert it to JPEG or something, I'd have to pay a fee on Adobe! So I just mentioned this to my husband and he said, "If it's JPEG, just take a screenshot."
Wow!!!
I sent it in HTML for now, so I'll try it when I get a reply!
