June 6, 2023, 8th Regional Internship Visit to Ishibashi Minami Elementary School, Presentation / Harvest at "Tekijuku" Farm

This was the first visit to Ishibashi Minami Elementary School, where we participated in a 6th grade class and gave a presentation introducing ourselves to the children. We also joined the 1st grade class and practiced origami with the children.

In both classes, the children asked various questions to the exchange students.

Afterwards, we harvested vegetables at the community space located in the Ishibashi shopping street. We harvested potatoes and onions. We also planted sweet potatoes, peanuts, and mini-tomatoes in vacant spaces. We distributed the vegetables to neighborhood people.
