April 25, 3rd Regional Interns Tour Osaka and Visit to ”Outenin" Temple

On the 25th, we conducted our third regional internship.

In the morning, we walked around  Osaka city area with Hirose-san and his partner, who is doing personal research on the history of Osaka.

Comparing the maps with those of Osaka in the past, we asked him to share with us a wide range of topics related to Osaka, such as the history of the Uemachi Plateau, Osaka's culture, and the experience of air raids.

In the afternoon, we visited to ”Outenin" Temple. We heard from staff and Buddhist nuns about the cross-disciplinary efforts of Ōjitenin, including education, art, nursing, and Buddhism.

They and we will continue to exchange ideas on how we can work together in the future.
