How to play [single-player game] forcibly [online battle]

The other day, I held a pseudo online competition for a free-indie Windows game I created in 2004, with three participants, including the author, using a slightly special one-player golf game.

Since the game itself doesn't have an online battle function, it was literally a "forcibly" pseudo online battle. This turned out to be surprisingly good, so I tried to make it knowledgeable so that people who want to do the same thing can reproduce it.

* I tried the game screen sharing function of "Discord" at first, but my game (made with Delphi) was not compatible with the sharing function, so I used the following method.

■ Pseudo online matchmaking techniques
- Use "TeamViewer", a conference tool with a desktop screen sharing function.
- After playing one hole, the participant passes the screen sharing rights to the next player.
- All players play all 9 holes in turn, and the winner is decided by the resultant score.
- Detailed communication is done in the Discord channel.

I think it's a little hard to imagine, so here are some videos taken by participants.

The following is a modified version of the manual described in the "Discord" channel for participants.

There are a lot of pitfalls around the voice and it looks complicated when you read the text, but if you try it out with multiple people while communicating in Discord, it's a lot easier than it sounds.
If you're looking for a one-player game and want to compete with each other online, this is the place to go!

■ Required Skills
- Install/uninstall applications on the Internet.
- You can change the settings and volume mixer in the Windows control panel.
- You have the passion to realize the pseudo-meeting even if you have to go through the following tedious steps

* The contents have been verified by individuals, but please do so at your own risk.
