(March 1, 2024)Can the efforts of current politicians change our society for the better?

[my own answer with fixed by Grammarly]
Politicians are the only existence who can implement a law for national and local society. However, I cannot support that politicians can change our society for the better mainly because they should win elections to have their occupation retained. In Japan's case, whether a candidate can win an election depends on how widely he/she garners a group of proponents' support, which makes the thoughts and behaviors of the politician prioritize the group's benefits. This bias can hinder truly indispensable, lively discussion and arguments from occurring in the congress. A lack of honest minds that aim to make our society better doesn't foster the power to solve complicated problems.

The potential for politicians to effect positive change in society is a subject of much debate. While some argue that political efforts can lead to significant improvements, others remain skeptical due to various challenges and limitations. Firstly, politicians have the power to enact policies and legislation that address pressing societal issues, such as healthcare reform, environmental protection, and social welfare programs. Through effective governance and strategic decision-making, they can initiate positive changes that benefit the well-being of citizens and promote social justice.
Secondly, politicians serve as representatives of the people and can amplify the voices of marginalized communities, advocating for their rights and addressing systemic inequalities. By championing diversity, inclusivity, and equitable opportunities, they can foster a more just and inclusive society where all individuals have the chance to thrive.
However, it's important to acknowledge the limitations and constraints that politicians face in effecting change. Political polarization, bureaucratic hurdles, and vested interests can impede progress and hinder the implementation of meaningful reforms. Additionally, short-term political agendas and electoral cycles may prioritize immediate gains over long-term sustainability and societal well-being.
In conclusion, while the efforts of current politicians have the potential to positively impact society, their effectiveness ultimately depends on their commitment to serving the public interest, their ability to navigate complex political landscapes, and their willingness to collaborate across party lines for the greater good.

(March 2, 2024)Are enough public funds invested in social welfare?

[my own answer with fixed by Grammarly]
It is often argued that public investments in Japan are well provided entirely, whereas reallocation and change should be needed in recent years. I can support this opinion based on a few following reasons.
Firstly, focusing on education system, it is generally discussed that elementary education in Japan has witnessed few changes compare to that of over 50 years ago, while the educational level of children has been evaluated as the almost highest in the world. This indicates Japanese education system is required to transform its features which tend to aim uniform growth of children into ones which can provide more chances to foster specialized skills, such as distinguished expertise of information technologies.
Secondly, Japan has highly sophisticated and well-spread national insurance system and health care services, which has reinforced reputational Japanese longevity for a long time. However, taking the pressing issue of depopulation in Japan into account, it should become more difficult to provide the same  level of health care services in both urban and rural areas uniformly. This forecast requires us to implement laws and practical technologies to provide remote hospital diagnosis and operations, which can reduce human resources.
Finally, public transportation system in Japan, which has been renowned pointing out its punctuality and safety, has the same kind of challenges as health care services ,facing recent accelerating decrease of population. Maintaining its infrastructure, daily operations in depopulated areas, retaining its high quality services should demand further innovative technologies to make them more sustainable, which is exemplified by, such as, remote and automatic operation system, supplemental operations by artificial intelligence, and so on.
In conclusion, Japan has developed well-organized and high quality public services in education, healthcare, and transportation system. On the other hand, it is also a fact that these existing services should be enhanced focusing on individual requirement for specialized education, remotely provided health care treatments, and automatic intelligent operations against the depopulating society. Unless these revolutions are realized, Japan prosperity cannot last in the future as well as the previous era.

The allocation of public funds to social welfare programs is a critical aspect of government responsibility, yet debates persist regarding whether these investments are sufficient to meet the needs of society. Firstly, adequate funding for social welfare is essential to ensure the well-being of vulnerable populations, including the elderly, disabled, and low-income individuals. Without sufficient resources, these groups may struggle to access essential services such as healthcare, housing, and education, leading to increased inequality and social unrest.
Secondly, investing in social welfare programs can have long-term economic benefits by reducing poverty, improving public health, and enhancing workforce productivity. By providing support to those in need, governments can create a more stable and resilient society, ultimately leading to higher levels of economic growth and prosperity for all citizens.
However, despite these benefits, many argue that current levels of investment in social welfare are inadequate to address the scale of the challenges faced by modern society. Factors such as budget constraints, competing political priorities, and inefficient allocation of resources often limit the effectiveness of social welfare programs and leave many individuals and communities underserved.
In conclusion, while some public funds are allocated to social welfare, there is ongoing debate about whether these investments are sufficient to address the diverse needs of society. To ensure a more equitable and inclusive future, policymakers must carefully evaluate and prioritize spending on social welfare programs based on the principle of providing for the common good.
