So, I don't want you to misunderstand that I'm trying to make a profit, but I've lowered the listing price.
Previous: 1 ETH (530,000 yen as of November 11, 2021)
New price: 0.02 ETH (about 10,000 yen as of November 11, 2021)
で、「だから儲けましょう」ということかと誤解されてしまうと困るのですが、出品価格を下げました。
従来：1ETH（2021年11月11日現在53万円）
新価格：0.02ETH（2021年11月11日現在1万円くらい）

The reason why I lowered the price is that the introduction of these photos on my blog made me reconsider why I am publishing them.
なぜ値下げしたかというと、ブログでのご紹介をきっかけに「私はなぜこの写真を公開しているのか」ということを考え直した、というのが理由です。

In fact, I had calculated that if we sold all of them at the original price, I would have over 10 million yen in cash. I was planning to donate it to Higashi Matsushima City in Miyagi Prefecture. Of course, I wanted to donate it to the city of Higashimatsushima, Miyagi Prefecture, "for the reappearance of Matsubara".
実は当初の価格で全部売れますと、1000万円以上、キャッシュが入る計算でした。それを、宮城県東松島市に寄付しようと思っていました。もちろん「松原再現のために」。

But if you think about it, can you recreate a 400-meter-long pine grove for "only" 10 million yen?
しかし、よーく考えてみますと、「たった1000万円」で、400ｍにも及ぶ松原が、再現出来るでしょうか？

”No one can.”
「それ、無理」

Wouldn't we run out of funds after buying about 10% of the saplings?
1割くらい苗木買っただけで資金尽きるのではないでしょうか？

Who is going to plant the trees?
植林は誰がするの？

Who will manage it? Who's going to do the pest control?
管理は？害虫駆除とか誰がするの？

東松島市役所にぶん投げですか？
Am I just going to throw it to the Higashimatsushima City Hall?

400年前からあった松原、これから400年分の維持費誰が払うねんねんねん？
Matsubara has been around for 400 years, who's going to pay for its maintenance for the next 400 years?

"Wouldn't that be a huge inconvenience to Higashi Matsushima City Hall?"
「それって東松島市役所に滅茶苦茶迷惑かけね？」

で、寄付については、やめることにしました。
So, I decided to stop about the donation.

土地の使い道も、松原がベストとは限らないのかもしれない。
The best use of the land may not always be in the pine forest.

There is a beautiful sandy beach right in front of the "Yoge-no-matsubara". Before the WW2, it was also called "Tohoku Suma". It is a beautiful beach reminiscent of "Suma Beach" in Kobe.
「余景の松原」の目の前には、綺麗な砂浜がひろがっています。戦前は「東北須磨」とも呼ばれたそうです。神戸の須磨海岸を思わせる美しい浜辺、ということです。

There was (and probably still is) a seawall between the pine grove and the beach, but I thought that the local people should think about how to use this land.
松原と砂浜の間には防潮堤がありましたが（多分今でもある）、この土地の使い道は、やはり地元の方々に考えていただくべきなのではないか、と。

So, what to do about the photos?
Is there any point in making them public?
で、写真については、どうするか。
これを公開する意義はあるのか？これを公開する意義はあるのか？

I think it does.
それは、あると思います。

Isn't it the responsibility of the person who "took" this landscape to pass it on to future generations? I'm not saying that. It is the pines that were photographed that are saying this. "Please tell them about us".
この風景を「撮ってしまった」人の責任として、後世に伝えていかねばならないのではないか？私が言うのではありません。撮影された松たちが申しております。「私たちを伝えて」と。

However, since it is an analog manual film photography, it takes a lot of time and money.
Therefore, we have set the price to the market price of monochrome silver halide photography.
ただ、アナログ手作業のフィルム写真なので、手間と費用は相当かかっております。
ゆえに、「モノクロ銀塩写真作品」の相場価格に、価格を設定しました。

I don't believe that if I lower the price, it will sell.
However, I did think about setting the price to be as "easy to buy" as possible.私は「値下げしたら売れる」と考えていません。
でも、少しでも「買いやすい値段」に設定しようということは、考えました。

I hope that these pine trees of Matsubara will reach your hands.
この松原の松達が、皆様のお手元に届きますように。
