今月の系外惑星　#1 ケプラー705b

　IEAM事業代表の堂ヶ崎です。このマガジンでは、厳選した系外惑星について専門的な内容に引き上げて紹介していきます。初回は、16年に発見されKOI-854.01時代からマークしていたケプラー705 bについて、どのような惑星なのかIEAMの最新の研究成果を基に解説します。

About Kepler-705b

The 1st topic in a magazine of “this month of exoplanet” is Kepler-705 b. There are some reasons why IEAM selected Kepler-705 b. The first, Neptune-like super-Earth. The second, the orbit is in HZ completely like Fig 2. This planet orbits M-type host star and observable.

Kepler-705b is a Neptune-like exoplanet that is 0.228 AU from its M-type star, and orbits the host star at a period of 56 days. It is in the Habitable Zone (see Fig.2), has been discovered by transit method.
