Robert-Jan Rietveld on Instagram: "“We don’t cut kids, we service young gentlemen..” I was more than honored to cut Sil’s hair, the fine young gentlemen in my chair and the pride and joy of my good friends @leonelivain and @lennartvanbaalen even though he couldn’t quite explain the exact haircut he was looking for… His main reason was: “To have a cold neck again… 🤣♥️” But also: “Not too short, no “Schorem haircut”, longer in the front, no mullet, no taper, no fade, no mohawk, not too neat, a little punkrock, a little metal, loads of texture, a little surf, easy to style, easy to maintain 🤘🏼🤘🏼…” I didn’t know exactly what the end result was going to be when I started, after his mom cut hos long locks I just sculpted his hair the way his hair told me to sculpt it… 😏 With every cut Sil’s smile, and with that smile his confidence, grew bigger and he was SO HAPPY with the final result it gave me energy for weeks to come, it’s clients like these that make me remember why I picked this job over three decades ago!!
