「人から出るもの、これが、人を汚すのです。」（マルコ７：２０）

今回は、「人から出るもの、これが、人を汚すのです。」（マルコ７：２０）からのメッセージです。
イエスが来られたのは、私たちの内側のきよめのためであることをご一緒に学べればと願っています。まず、マルコ７：１－２３を読んでいただきたい。パリサイ人や律法学者たちは、弟子たちが汚れた手でパンを食べている者があるのを見て、イエスに「なぜ、あなたの弟子たちは、昔の人たちの言い伝えに従って歩まないで、汚れた手でパンを食べるのですか」と尋ねた（5節）。これは、手を洗わないと言うことではなく、言い伝えにしたがった儀式的な方法で手を洗わなかったことを責めているのです。当時のパリサイ人たちは旧約聖書の教えよりも言い伝えに重点を置き、旧約聖書の教えを守らない教えがまん延してしまったようである。儀式的な方法で手を洗わないから、その人は汚れている、そんな理解は大きな間違いでしかない。そのことをイエスは彼らに指摘する。そして外側の聖さだけを求めて生きる人生なのか、心の内側から変えられて行く人生なのかを問いかけている。
本日のテーマ、「人から出るもの、これが、人を汚すのです。」との言葉に続いて、イエスは「内側から、すなわち、人の心から出てくるものは、悪い考え、不品行、盗み、殺人、姦淫、貪欲、よこしま、欺き、好色、ねたみ、そしり、高ぶり、愚かさであり、これらの悪はみな、内側から出て、人を汚すのです。」(21-23節) と語られる。あなたは何をイエスに期待しますか？イエス・キリストこそ、私たちの心をきよめることのできる方である。キリストは、私たちのために十字架の上で苦しまれ、私たちのために死なれ、罪を赦すことのできる唯一の方である。
私は、高校生の時に初めて教会に行き、2年生の夏のキャンプでイエスを救い主として初めて信じた。そして罪の赦しが与えられることを信じ、神様のために生きることを決断した。しかし、大学生になり、約2年間教会から離れ、神を忘れ、自己中心の人生を歩んだ経験がある。自分の心の罪深さをいやというほど認識した。大学2年のキャンプで、再度、神への信仰を回復することができ、それ以来数えきれない神様からの恵みを経験している。自分の人生を振り返って、イエス・キリストを自分の救い主として信じることができたこと、罪の赦しを経験できたことを本当に感謝している。
私は食事の前やトイレの後には手を洗う習慣があるが、パリサイ人のように宗教的な儀式に従ってはなそうとは思わない。そのような行いによるきよめではなく、むしろイエスの十字架を信じて、罪の赦しと永遠のいのちが与えられていることを感謝している。あなたはどうでしょうか？ぜひ、心の汚れや、重荷を感じる時に、イエスのもとに行っていただきたい。そして、「イエス様、私の罪を赦すために十字架で死なれたことを感謝します。あなたを私のこころに受け入れます。」と祈ってみていただきたい。きっとキリストのきよめと平安をいただけるものと信じる。

”What comes out of a person is what defiles them.”（Mark 7:20）
Today’s message is from Mark 7:20, “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. “ We want to learn together today that Jesus came to cleanse inside of our heart. First of all, please read from Mark 7:1 to 23. The Pharisees and teachers of the law saw some of Jesus’ disciples eating food with hands that were unwashed, they asked Jesus “Why don’t your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders instead of eating their food with defiled hands? “ (verse 5).
They were accusing his disciples of not following the traditional ways of ceremonial washing. The Pharisees at this time was focusing more on their tradition and not so much on the teaching of the Old Testament, and following these traditions were very common in that time. They believed that those who didn’t follow the ceremonial washing were defiled, their understanding were so narrow and wrong. Jesus pointed that out to them, and he questioned them whether they were pursuing a life of outside cleanness, or a life that changes from inside.
He went on in verse 20, “What comes out of a person is what defiles them.” After this verse, he went on from verse 21-23, “For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person.” What do you expect Jesus to do in your life? Jesus Christ is the one who can purify our heart. Christ suffered on the cross for us, He died for us, and He is the only one who is able to forgive our sin.
When I was a high school student, I went to a church for the first time. I accepted Jesus as my savior at Summer camp when I was a junior student. At that time, I believed that forgiveness of my sin was given, and I made a decision to live my life for God. However, when I became an university student, I left the church for about 2 years and I had a selfish life forgetting about God. Through this experience, I acknowledged how sinful my heart became. Through Christian camp at senior year of university, I was able to go back to God. Ever since then, I experienced so much of His blessing and His grace. When I look back on my life, I’m really grateful that I was able to believe in Jesus Christ as my savior, and forgiveness of my sin is given to me through Him.
I have a custom to wash my hands before eating or after using the bathroom, but I don’t want to follow the ceremonial washing way (like the Pharisees). Instead of emphasizing too much on tradition, I’m simply thankful that the forgiveness of sin and the eternal life is given to me through believing Jesus’ cross. How about you? I’d like to encourage you to come to Jesus whenever you feel uncleanness of your heart or any burdens. And please pray like this, “Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross to forgive my sin. I want to accept you in my heart. “ I believe that the forgiveness and peace of Christ will be given to you.
