I'Rise Associates株式会社｜証券用語｜偶発転換社債（ぐうはつてんかんしゃさい）
銀行など金融機関が自己資本増強のために発行する転換社債の一種で、発行体の自己資本比率が基準値を下回るなど、偶発的な事象であらかじめ定められた条件に抵触した場合、元本の一部または全部が削減されたり、強制的に普通株に転換される転換社債のこと。リスクが高い代わりに、通常の社債よりも高利回りとなっている。
Contingent convertible bondsを略してCoCo債（ココ債）とも呼ばれる。
