Really excited to tell you all about my journey as a newly certified home-school professional. I have been teaching my kids from home for a bout 10 weeks now, and they're loving it!

I have been using an array of resources, but my absolute favourite one has been http://www.twinkl.co.nz/ . This has been a life-saver. With over 700,000 online resources I have been able to create a fresh , motivational and captivating environment for my children. 

There's many steps to master the art of home-schooling, I have been researching night and day to curate a list of the most important aspects of this field. 

1) STAY ORGANISED. 

This is something that you MUST do when you have your children's educational potential in your hands, make sure to research and thoroughly read every piece of information to ensure that you are providing a solid foundation for your children. 2) Make sure you follow your given curriculum!

This is another vitally important element of home-schooling and it allowed me to be far more efficient in the way I was teaching my children. The way in which I made this work for my family is I made sure to make every lesson different to the last, if we studied maths three days in a row, I made it my mission to bring fresh and attractive activities every day! I'm currently teaching my children in New Zealand, so it's paramount that I teach my children about their heritage and history of the country they live in, thankfully Twinkl provides teacher made resources which are in-line with each country's curriculum, I personally taught them about Haumia-tiketike.  Https://www.twinkl.co.nz/teaching-wiki/haumia-tiketike
