たまたま　サカを
くだっていたら
When I was walking down the hill

シタから　しらないコドモが
のぼってきたよ
a kid I don't know walked up the hill

なんだか　たいへん
そうなので
The kid seems to be having a hard time

いっしょに　おして
あげたんだ
so I pushed the hand cart to help

わたしが　おして
あげたんだ
I pushed it for the kid

そのコとは
それっきり
I've never seen the kid since then

そのイチドだけ
それっきり
It was the only time that I saw the kid

ナンニチかして　おばさん　が
そのコについてハナしてた
A few days later, a lady was talking about the kid

あのコは　もう
このマチには　いないのよ
The child isn't in this town anymore

まいにち　とどける
やくそく　を　マモらないから
They didn't do delivering every day as promised

もう
このマチには　いないのよ
so they are not in this town anymore

あれ　なんでだろ
Oh I wonder why

いいこと　を
したはずなのに
I thought I did something good

なぜかナミダが
とまらない
For some reason, my tears don't stop

あのコは　イマげんきかな・・・
I wonder if the kid is doing fine now...
