"The flight of the Wandering Albatross, which can have a wingspan of up to 3 meters and weigh 9 kilograms, is truly spectacular. They invest almost a year in raising a single chick, so they breed every other year. Known to live up to 40 years, they are also recognized for their monogamous mating.
Colonies of these birds can be visited by tourists, as they are located in places connected to towns, not remote islands. I witnessed their flight on a windy day.
