【まちなか留学】amazingでexcitingな旅でした❗✨

今回の旅は東京4/27〜5/1日の旅だったのですが、28日のお昼〜29日は「まちなか留学」のホストファミリー、Barua family宅にお邪魔してお世話になり、最高の思い出を作ることができました🥹❗
ClaudiaとPassang、本当に素敵な時間を私にくれてありがとう❗

Claudia(彼女),Passang(旦那様),そして私

2日目のバーベキュー、葛西臨海公園にて

そして日本にいながらホームステイできるという革新的なこのシステムは素晴らしい❗❗

ClaudiaとPassangのご自宅に案内されるとすぐに目に飛び込んできたのは電子ピアノ❗
なんとPassangは趣味で音楽をされていて、バンドも組んでいるとのこと。
少し緊張していた私ですが、音楽の話題ですぐに打ち解けることができました。

ClaudiaとPassangはインド北東部のダージリンという町が出身です。
Claudiaは現在ビジネス英語の専門講師、Passangはインドにいたときから勉強されており日本語がペラペラなので、英会話初心者の私でも少しずつ会話を楽しめるように丁寧に優しく会話してくれました。

まず初めにClaudiaからインド伝統の本格的なチャイの作り方を教えてくれました。

ヨーグルトをかけて。辛いのに甘い、独特な、癖になる味！

スパイスが結構好きな私は、お二人夫婦が出してくれた料理が凄く口に合い、このチャイをはじめbhel puri、momo、チキンカレー、Pohaなどとても美味しくいただくことができました。

初日の夕食はチキンカレーと豆カレー、かなりスパイシー！！

Claudiaが淹れてくれた、彼らの故郷のオーガニックなダージリンティも、最高に美味しかった🌸

2日目の朝にダージリンティを。

一緒に遊んだボードゲーム「Scrabble」は英単語を作ってポイントを取っていくゲームでとても頭を使いましたが、めっちゃ楽しかったです✨

夕食は窓から夕日を見ながらスタート。

ノラ・ジョーンズのニアネス・オブ・ユーを彼のギター🎸と私の歌🎤でセッションしたり、彼女の歌も聴くことができました。
その他いろんな曲を歌でピアノ🎹で一緒に演奏しました。

そして2日目は一緒にバーベキューに✨✨✨

目的の葛西臨海公園までの電車の中、お二人から初めましてのシーンや別れのときの会話などの生きた英会話表現を教えてもらい、とても助かりました。

いろんな国から来ている人や留学経験のある日本人たちなど、15人くらいでバーベキューしながらたくさん交流することができました❗

あっという間に過ぎたこの2日間。

私の人生において間違いなくかけがえのない、最高の時間となりました❗✨

【It was an amazing and exciting trip!】

This trip was from 4/27 to 5/1, but from the afternoon of the 28th to the 29th, I stayed with my host family, the Barua family, from "Machinaka Study Abroad" and made some great memories!

Thank you Claudia and Passang for giving me such a wonderful time!

And this innovative system that allows you to stay in a homestay while in Japan is amazing!!

When I was shown into Claudia and Passang's home, the first thing that caught my eye was an electronic piano!

Passang plays music as a hobby and is in a band.

I was a little nervous, but we quickly opened up about music.

Claudia and Passang are from Darjeeling, a town in northeastern India.

Claudia is currently a professional business English teacher, and Passang has been studying Japanese since he was in India and is fluent in Japanese, so he spoke to me carefully and kindly so that even a beginner like me could enjoy the conversation little by little.

First of all, Claudia taught me how to make authentic Indian traditional chai.

 I like spices, so the food they served was very to my taste. I enjoyed the chai, bhel puri, momo, chicken curry, poha, and other dishes.

The organic Darjeeling tea from their hometown, brewed by Claudia, was also delicious!!

We played the board game "Scrabble" together, where you make English words and get points, which required a lot of brainpower, but it was a lot of fun.

We started dinner watching the sunset from the window.

We had a jam session of Norah Jones' Nearness of You with him on guitar and me singing, and we also got to listen to her singing.

We also sang and played various other songs together on the piano.

And on the second day, we went to a barbecue together!!

On the train to our destination, Kasai Rinkai Park, the couple taught us practical English expressions for scenes where you meet someone for the first time and when you say goodbye, which was very helpful.

We had a barbecue with about 15 people, including people from various countries and Japanese people who had studied abroad, and we were able to interact with them a lot!

The two days passed by in an instant. It was definitely the best and most irreplaceable time of my life!
