なぜ今があるのか　Why is it now?

一昨年の
The year before last

秋の出来事は忘れない
I won't forget the events of autumn

施設にいる母の変化だった
It was a change from my mother at the facility

家族は覚悟を迫られたし
My family was forced to be prepared

非人間的な医療技術でしか

命を繋げないことも分かった

いちばん側で小さな反応を

見つけようとしていたのが

介護士や作業療法士だった

強い麻痺が残らないように

工夫をこらして

一途に関わってくれた
They were single-minded

小さな古い病院だったけど
It was a small old hospital, but

医師や看護師も含めて
Doctors and nurses

向き合い方が違った
They were different in the way they faced

そのことは忘れない日となって
It's a day I won't forget that

潜在意識に組み込まれた
Incorporated into the subconscious

彼らはまったく違う意識を持っていて
They have a completely different consciousness

医療に関わる人たちの
People involved in medical care

ひとりの人に
To one person

ひとつの家族に
To one family

ひとつのチームを感じて
Feel one team

心に寄り添ってくれた
They were close to my heart

その人の最後に見る顔が
The face that the person sees at the end

「私かもしれない」
It might be me

新しい意識が目覚めた
A new consciousness has awakened
