Yet again a pianist's greatest recording goes unpublished and undiscovered for decades... until the internet age of course! I chose the picture I did as I can only imagine this was how Rosenthal played in the prime of his youth, fingers unrestrained by his age or the infamously poor studio conditions whose effects can both be heard in many of his later records. It's quite a beautiful thing isn't it?
