The thumbnail is a taro field carefully tended by Madame. Most of the field covered with weeds that are growing at a furious pace.

Today's citizens' lecture began with planting daikon radish seeds, and then planting seed potatoes.

We scattered cow manure and a chemical fertilizer called 8-8-8-8 in two of 70cm rows at first.

Mix the manure and soil with a hoe to level the rows.

We dug on all four sides of the rows so that the edges of mulch sheet can be easily applied. And spreading the mulch sheet and put soils on all four sides of rows. The holes are mulch sheets that are specially designed for daikon radishes.

We put 2 seeds in each hole, water them and cover the net. That was all for daikon radish.

After that, we move on potatoes planting….

We had always cut seed potatoes before the lecture, but this year it was too hot and they were moldy, so we planted round seed potatoes without cutting them.

I really love to cover the potatoes with my feet.ー I don't know why.
