Digitalization of National Qualifications
Starting from August 6, 2024, it will be possible to complete online the procedures for name changes, obtaining digital qualification certificates, and other processes for certified care workers, social workers, mental health social workers, and certified psychologists, which were previously conducted on paper.
When names or addresses are changed due to marriage, moving, or in the case of death, the necessary procedures can be completed online via the My Number Portal. Not only can you omit submitting attachments such as residence certificates and family registers, but you can also pay the registration license tax and fees required for the application through online payment using a credit card.
You will also be able to view your registered information at any time.
Organizations managing these qualifications can reduce the burden of checking for omissions and corrections by using a system that checks forms automatically, and they can also send notifications of application deficiencies through the My Number Portal, reducing postage and phone response costs. Additionally, if a complete transition to the national qualification system is made, it will be possible to issue a "digital qualification certificate," which will reduce the annual costs of operating and maintaining existing systems.
