今年はオンラインでやります、高齢者ケアを学ぶサマープログラム

The summer program on the aged care hosted by the Research Unit of Geriatric Nursing of OsakaUniversity is back this year with a shortened schedule (one week) in an online format.
Last year we were obliged to cancel our program due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The MoU school students who were enrolled in the program are truly eager to learn, and we have been striving to have the dream come true in our research and clinical practice, which have been discussed by the students.
Just like previous years, the program this year is arranged in collaboration with the "Gourmet Kineya Social Contribution House," a special nursing home for older people. We must acknowledge the challenge that active interactions in the online program this year are maintained at the same level as the program offline in the previous years. Nevertheless, we will manage it, and will enrich the content of the program further. I am personally enjoying this challenge!
I hope many students from the MoU schools (sister schools of Osaka University) will join us again. This project was launched in 2014 and I often think of our wonderful students and how they have been doing. Some day in the near future I am hoping to see them in an alumni gathering. That would be a big fun.

昨年はCOVID-19のパンデミックのため対応できなかったが、毎年恒例の阪大老年看護学教室が主催する高齢者ケアのサマープログラムを1週間に短縮してオンラインで実施する。
参加するMoU校の学生たちは本当に学習に貪欲で、彼らとのディスカッションしたことが現実になるように日々研究と実践を重ねている。
今回も日頃お世話になっている「特別養護老人ホームグルメ杵屋社会貢献の家」さんとのコラボ企画だ。オンラインでどれほど相互作用の高いものができるのか、チャレンジではあるが、楽しみであり。内容はもっと充実させていく予定。MoU校のみんなきてくれたらいいな。うちの学生もこの時ばかりはかなり英語力やコミュニケーション能力があがる。
これは2014年からずっと続けてきている企画だ。今までの学生たち、元気かな、同窓会とかやりたい。
