Day2(4/2)PTC進捗報告会-見えない貧困に目を向ける-

こんにちは、プロジェクトチームのみずきです。　今回「進捗報告」と銘打って私達PTCのプロジェクトの目的や考え、具体的に進めていきたいと考えているところを発表する場を設けていただきました。(Day1の様子はコチラです)２回目の開催となる今回は、前回参加者の皆様から頂いたご意見を踏まえて大幅に発表内容やイベントの流れを改善しての開催となりました。

参加人数は対面参加５名(高校生・大学生・社会人・教員)、オンライン参加５名の計10名。自己紹介（自分を食べ物に例えると？）を済ませてすぐに進捗報告に進みました。

進捗報告では私達のプロジェクトが台湾で始まった－＋モデルを日本に落とし込む活動の一環である事、その為に具体的にはどのように進めていこうと考えているのかを発表しました。それを基に参加者の皆様とプロジェクトメンバーで議論し、テーマとしては発表の中でお話しさせて頂いた私達の課題としている"見えない・言葉にされない貧困”はどのような人か？が中心となりました。

議論の中ではそれぞれの具体的な経験や知識を基に日本の文脈で「見えない・言葉にされない貧困」にあたる人たちについての議論や、貧困の定義次第で活動の性質や対象が変わってくるだろうなどのご意見を頂きました。

　また支援を一方的に受けるだけでは尊厳を傷つけてしまい上手く状況を好転させることが出来無いのではないかというのも大きな論点となりました。

　そうした点について支援される側とされる人が対等な立場で受け取れる、さらにいうと互いに提供者になれるような仕組みを作っていくことの重要さについても大切なヒントを頂きました。情報を得ることが出来ていない事による貧困があるのではないかというのも問題として出ており、これについてコミュニティ外との交流や発信の方法について様々な意見を頂きました。

以上が進捗報告会の内容となります。ご参加頂いた方々には様々な視点から沢山のご意見をご発言頂き、私としましても皆様の経験や知識から出る様々なご意見から大変勉強させていただきました。個人的な感想と致しましては特に一方的に支援を受けるという構図ではなく、どちらの側もプラスとマイナスを得る事が出来るような仕組みをつくると言うところに注目して進めていきたいと思うところです。参加者の皆様におかれましても良い時間であったと思って頂いているなら望外の喜びです。

This time, we were given the opportunity to present the objectives and ideas of our project and the concrete steps we would like to take, as a "Progress Report Session" I'm sure this time improved and updated than last time!
10 people attended, 5 in person and 5 online. After self-introductions, we immediately proceeded to the progress report. In the progress report, I explained that our project is a part of the activities to incorporate the -+ model started in Taiwan into the Japanese market, and how we are planning to proceed with the project. We had a discussion with the participants and project members.
The theme of the discussion was the issue we discussed in our presentation: "Who are the 'invisible and unspoken poor'?" was the main focus of the event. During the discussion, based on their specific experiences and knowledge, the participants suggested that such people might fall into the category of "invisible and unspoken poverty," and that the nature and target of their activities would change depending on the definition of poverty. Another major point of contention was that simply receiving support on a one-way basis may hurt the pride of the recipient and may not be enough to successfully turn the situation around. In this regard, the importance of creating a system in which both the recipient and the recipient of support can offer something to the other was pointed out. Another issue that came up was whether there is poverty due to a lack of access to information, and various opinions were exchanged on ways to communicate and disseminate information outside the community.

After these discussions, the progress report meeting was concluded with comments from the participants and project members.
The above is the content of the progress report meeting. I learned a great deal from the various opinions expressed by the participants from their experience and knowledge. My personal impression is that we should focus on creating a system that allows both sides to gain both positive and negative benefits, rather than one side receiving support from the other.
