A Simple Question to See Your Capability to Be a CEO (2 mins to read)

"In any computer game, can you use a very rare item without hesitation?"

This is the question I arrived at after nearly 30 years of work experience that I believe reveals an essential skill of being a CEO.
Examples of these 'rare items' include the "Master Ball" in Pokémon or an "elixir" in Final Fantasy.

When I asked this question to the two CEOs of my company, their answers were striking: "Why not?"
They then continued to say, "We will probably have a chance to buy them back later anyways."
Their responses surprised me because it hadn't occurred to me that I could simply "just buy them."
I have been with this company for two years now, and their positive mindset continues to inspire me to contribute to our customers.
I believe this mindset is one of the key qualities of a great CEO.
Even when facing tough situations, I'm confident our CEOs will maintain their positive attitude to guide us forward.

As for me?
I've always been the type to finish games without ever using the rare items since I thought to save them for unexpected, chaotic situations that might arise later.

What do you think of this thought?
