Kinkan?

Unbelievably, it is already February, time flies!
I took triple lessons today, the first two classes were with teacher N, and the last one was with teacher I.

In the lesson with teacher N, we talked about the movie title of "A Banana? At This Time of Night?" she recommended it to me last time, I watched it last Sunday, and I shared my impressions that I felt upset with the main character with her, and she agreed with my opinion.

I explained why I hadn't watched it even though I'd expected, one of my favorite actors was performing in this movie though, he is not in this world anymore, so I thought if I watched it, I should feel sad, I hadn't watched it yet, but he was still alive and bright in the movie, I appreciate teacher N that I could see vivid him, and I didn't regret watching it.

Regarding the actor, we talked about the actress who passed away for the same reason as him, she was also one of my favorite actresses who left her two sons and husband, even though her first son's dad is different from her current husband, I've heard their relationships were quite well, her husband decided to continue to take care of two sons even though one of them was a stepson even after she passed.

Besides the people who have gone, I told her about her favorite actor's brother, I'd heard he is one of the candidates for the mayor of Hakodate city in Hokkaido, and the election will be coming spring.

In the last lesson for the day with teacher I, she asked me about "kinkan."
I thought she mentioned traditional Japanese ointment that is effective for insect bites, stiff shoulders, and lower back pain, we have kinkan at home, and we use it in Summer after being bitten by a mosquito.
If I use it after scratching my skin, I have to suffer from tingling.

Back to the topic the teacher asked, she told me about fruits.
I realized we have another "kinkan" in Japan.
Kinkan is categorized as citrus, has a very thin peel and is edible, whose peel is just a little bit bitter, but not so bothered.
Kinkan is smaller than ping-pong ball.
If I eat it, I feel nostalgic.

It was my first experience for me to take triple lessons consecutively.
I felt like I understand how the teachers felt every time, and admire them so much.
