JR East Pokémon Stamp Rally 2024 Guide

During the summer holiday season, JR East has Pokémon Stamp Rally event from 12th July to 1st of Sept.
You will see kids with Stamp Rally booklet and Pikachu Souvenir at Station and train.
I saw some traveller from outside Japan, however not enough English guidance and information.
It is my experience of this year JR East Pokémon Stamp Rally 2024 event. Anyone can join this event. Have fun and make a nice experience in Tokyo ! 

Pokémon Stamp Rally outline

Term: July 12th to Sept. 1st
For: Everyone as free of charge
Total 36 stamps at Greater Tokyo area station.
   6 stamps for STAGE1
 12 stamps for STAGE2
 All 36 stamps for STAGE3

How to Start:

You will get JR East has Pokémon Stamp Rally Booklet at Major station Exit gate or ticket counter (Midori no Madoguchi). Take one Booklet and start the event.

Preparation (Recommend)

Every Stamp counter located external of Exit gate (Except Tokyo monorail Haneda station). Tokunaipass 1day ticket is comfortable for it. You can buy it by Ticket Machine at station.


JR East has Pokémon Stamp Rally has total 36 stamps in Greater Tokyo area. It takes 2 or more days for all collection.
I recommend STAGE1 with 6 Stamps.

You can gather any 6 stamps at station in Yamanote-line or Chuo-line etc.
You will take Pokémon Stamp Rally booklet with 6 stamps to NewDays Convenience store at station. (Tokyo, Shinagawa, Ueno etc.)

It takes around 2 hours and you will get nice souvenir.

My suggestion for 6 stamps

1. Shinagawa  (Central Exit Gate north)
     Take Yamanote or KeihinTohoku line

2. Shimbashi   (South Exit Gate)
     Take Yamanote or KeihinTohoku line

3. Ueno (Iriya Exit Gate)
     Take Yamanote line, change to Chuo line East at Akihabara

4. Ryogoku (West Exit Gate)
     Take Chuo line to west

5. Ochanomizu (West Exit Gate)
     Take Chuo Express line to Tokyo

6. Tokyo (Marunouchi South Exit Gate)

Then, You will get nice souvenir at NewDays store at B1F.

このところの東京のスタンプラリーで楽しそうに活動している外人さんをちょくちょく見掛けてました。東京を楽しんでほしいけどスタンプラリーのパンフレットやスタンプ帳は日本語だけなので、ちょっととっつき難いだろうなあと見てました。
