In the third year of my stay in the hospital, a new nurse had come in. Her familyname started wirh a letter of "T", which reminded me of a samurai drama. I was indignant with her because she impersonated a competent nurse despite she was incompetent. She was always humming, so my mind was that to be sunny was irrelevant to be offensive. Too bad! She seemed to try to impress me on competent enough to work while humming. This impression is due to one episode. Let me explain it as follows. I pressed a nurse call button to call a nurse.T came. The fellow(I, instead of "the person", wrote "the fellow" because the memory, so reminded due to my writing, aggravated my impatience. ),with her left hand on her belly, impersonated a competent helpful woman saying "what? Yep. Sure" in a special nasal voice(She may not have impersonated. she may have been only impolite.).Then she restlessly asked many questions such as "phelgm?". I had had received tracheostomy so I had no choice but to shake my head. She might have wanted to show off her competence, but the interrogation resulted in a disappointment contrary to her expectation. She seemed to get evidently impatient and irritated. She finally found It hard to endure and said
"Do I have only to suction your phlegm ? ; I have no time."
She treated me as a nuisance, who disturbed her despite she had no time. Above all, she hadn't to ask whether suctioning phlegm is needed because I shook my head. I thought she cannot leave me with doing nothing. I wanted her to leave me soon. Thus I nodded and was suctioned. Then after confirming her leave, I rang the nurse call.
