チリワインは日本でも非常に手に取りやすい価格帯で人気ですが、安いだけが魅力ではありません。
チリのマジェコ・ヴァレーの生産者「ベティッグ」は、エラスリスのワインメーカーとしてチリで初めてパーカー・ポイント100点満点を獲得し、チリ最優秀醸造家を3度受賞したフランシスコ・ベティッグ氏が立ち上げたワイナリー。彼が自らのドメーヌを始める地として選んだマジェコ・ヴァレーは土壌の構成がブルゴーニュに似ており、冷涼な気候であることからもピノ・ノワール種に適した環境です。
 
このワインは2020年ヴィンテージということもあり非常にフレッシュな印象です。熟したブラックチェリーやブラッディーオレンジ、ダージリンティーなどの香りが特徴的。エレガントでありながらも、ほどよい凝縮感が感じられるワインです。

Baettig is built in Malleco Valley by Francisco Baettig, who worked at Viña Errázuriz, got P.P. 100pt and grand prize of Chilian winemaker. Soils of Malleco Valley is similar to its of Burgundy. It’s cool climate also help to grow high quality Pinot Noir.
 
This wine has fresh aromas and flavours. Ripe black cherry, bloody orange and Darjeeling tea aromas. It has not only elegant impression but also condensation of fruits.
