Out of my Comfort Zone
Hello guys.
Today, I had my 3rd bullpen session.
I tried a new way to use my left leg when driving forward, which was discussed with Hunter beforehand.
It wasn’t a movement I was used to, but Hunter’s reaction was much better than I thought.
So it was pleasure and made me decision keeping this movement.
I think we go through an uncomfortable zone at least one time when we grow better than we’re now.
The more we continue doing uncomfortable things at first, the better we will get used to it.
For me at Tread, I was so confused that I didn’t know where to be on my first day.
However right now, I feel there is a place for me at Tread and I am really comfortable.
I’m sure that my comfort zone changed.
So this must be my big experience expanding my small world.
Actually, I’ve had a weakness for English since high school and avoided using English.
That’s why coming to the U.S. was a hard challenge for me.
Now after 10 days of living, I still can’t communicate in English fluently, but I was getting used to daily life in English and sometimes even felt enjoyable using English.
I realized that my way to learn English had been wrong.
That was it.
Again, I think my comfort zone with English had moved.
I’ll keep working until I can consider where I am now to be my new comfort zone.
Separately, I’m secretly challenging what I’ve never done before.
More to come soon.
Thank you.
