8月7日に米国有力紙「ワシントン・ポスト」が，３年前の2020年に，中国軍ハッカーが日本の防衛ネットワークに侵入したことを米国国家安全保障局（NSA）が覚知し，米国政府が日本政府に通知していたことを報じた。
