No new H5N1 detections reported in herds since 3/25. I find this implausible, esp since the federal order requiring testing for interstate movement has been in effect a week. We urgently need data on how may animals are being tested by week and state, including negatives.

It appears that cattle sequences from NM may have evolutionarily emerged earlier or at least at same time as ones from TX, whereas KS & OH are clustering directly w/ TX outbreak
