Synopsis:
Gugu, a former top tap dancer, still wants to perform on stage even though she is disabled. For that purpose, she wants to wear red magic tap dance shoes that give her great talent once she puts them on instead of forcing you to practice like hell. However, the person in possession of the shoes is new dancer Ellie. Even though she is afraid of shoe's power, Ellie tries hard to practice, but she is unable to take off the red shoes. The story explores Zaruba's past and the struggle for the soul of a top dancer contained in the red shoes.

Tap dance music starts and ends
(Simultaneous) Sound of one person applauding
(Simultaneous) Sound of climbing the moving stairs for the stage
Zaruba (30): "Yeah, yeah! Ellie, you're amazing."
Ellie (25): "Thank you, Zaruba. I promise. With this tap, I will make the whole world extremely happy."
Zarba: "Ah, that's a promise. With your taps, the world won't be your eyes. You can easily surpass even this galaxy and make you happy to the end of the universe beyond."
the noise of people
Stage Staff A (22): ``We're in trouble because of you. MIssGugu, you can't suddenly appear on stage.
” Zaruba: "Hey, staff, we're practicing now. What? You're so annoying."
Stage Staff A: “Zaruba-san, we’re sorry! We tried our best to stop MissGugu too.”
Stage staff B (18): “No, Miss. Gugu.”
Gugu (25): "There are times when Everyone have to risk our life. Let me Go."
Stage staff A: “Hey, Miss Gugu!”
Stage Staff B: “That’s enough. Let her do whatever she wants.”
The sound of walking with a cane, the sound of dragging feet
Gugu: “Zaruba, I only need one more time. Let me appear on stage.”
Zarba: "You again? Get out. With those dirty feet."
Gugu: "Just once. Just once is fine. I'll show it to Zoo. I'll show it to Zoo, my daughter."
Zaruba: “I don’t know if it’s Zoo or Boo.”
Gugu: ``I'm going to make Zoo see her dream. I don't have any money to raise her, and I can't buy the shoes she wants.''
Zaruba: "If you don't have money, sell your soul to the god of death or whatever."
The sound of a cane being kicked, the sound of a cane rolling, the sound of a person falling
Ellie: "That's terrible! I didn't even have to kick the cane. Are you okay? Can you get up? Look, you've been caught."
Zaruba: "What a beautiful friendship. It brings tears to my eyes. Ahahahaha."
Gugu: “You have become a sad person.
Zaruba: That's it.''
Zaruba: "Ah. Things have changed. Ever since the day you turned your back on my trust."
Gugu: “Hey, I don’t give up." ll Become a dancer who takes the biggest taps.”
Zaruba: “Ah, ha, ha! With those legs? How can you say such a thing when you can’t walk without a cane?”
Gugu: “Please, please.”
The sound of tapping with a cane and one bare foot
Gugu: “How is it?”
Zarba: “You know what? Do it yourself.”
Gugu: “I’m selfish. It doesn’t mean I can’t compare to what I used to be.”
Zarba: "Then go home. I'm not interested in a show hut that costs you tears and doesn't make a penny."
Gugu: “I tried my best. That thing.”
Zarba: "Ah, that's right. You learned that kind of acrobatics. You must have worked hard. With effort that made your blood flow. I understand. Your efforts. So what? That effort can touch people's hearts. Are you going to charm me and make money?”
Gugu: “Well, I don’t know if you’re right.”
Zaruba: “Then go home.”
Gugu: “That’s it, hey, hey.”
Zarba: ``Come on, you, how much do you have to make me the villain? Look at the way people in this theater avoid me. Okay? Even if everyone wants to kick me, I can't kick them.'' I took the role of someone who hated your healthy cane and came out to kick it on behalf of you. Don't you think this is true goodwill? On the other hand, what about you? It's your own selfishness. You're pushing my dreams forward, thinking only of yourself, and on top of that, you're making me the villain. It's a really bad role. You're wasting my time and the people working seriously at this theater over and over again. Don't you think it's wrong to kill me? Or do you want me to cry and nod while supporting you on your shoulder? Yeah, yeah, I'll also add a lame line saying you did your best. And a big, sweet chocolate. And I'll give you some candy. In exchange, will you never come again? In that case, I'll be happy to do it.It won't change the outcome.Listen, there's no tap in this theater you can step on.No, this theater. No matter how far you go in the galaxy, never have been, never will be.”
Gugu: “Just one more chance for me”
Zarba: “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Gugu: “Let me put on my magic red tap shoes just one more time.”
Zarba: "Magic? There's no such thing."
Gugu: “I’m talking about those shoes you made me wear.”
Zarba: You were the one who said you wanted to be the world's best tap dancer. You'd do anything for that, even risk your life. Listen, Gugu? There's no such thing as magic in this world. It's only when someone whose talent flows like a fountain can dance that he can make people happy by working hard. Gugu, you don't have either of those things. You became a star tap dancer because of the red shoes. It's all thanks to the Red Shoes. The red shoes are just an encouragement to the world's best tap dancer to wear them."
Gugu: “Just one more time, just one more time.”
Zarba: You were the one who took those shoes off. I didn't make you take them off. And I explained to you that if you took those shoes off, you wouldn't have normal feet anymore, and you only get to wear red shoes once in your life. I also explained that. Isn’t that so?”
Gugu: “That’s exactly what you said.”
Zarba: "Right? You agreed, put on the red shoes, and then took them off without permission. At the cost of everything in the theater. And that was right before the performance on stage to a sold-out crowd."
Gugu: “That’s bad.”
Zaruba: "There's no need to apologize."
Gugu: “Can you forgive me?”
Zaruba: "Hahahahahaha! What are you kidding me about? There's no way I'll forgive you, right? I've always had a grudge against you. It's so shocking to me. Gugu, am I really the bad guy in your life?"
Gugu: "I don't know what's evil and what's right. I'm an idiot and haven't even gone to school. But, you're not an idiot. To me, you're as evil as pitch-black darkness right now. .”
Zarba: “Why do you think so?”
Gugu: "That's because you gave up on your beautiful, pure, shiny dreams and sold your soul to dirty, black money."
Zarba: Is money beautiful or dirty? It makes me laugh. I'm not the me you know. I'm now the manager of this world-famous theater. You can't earn money even if you spend your whole life doing handstands. You can get it like hot water in an instant. Just imagine rubbing that missing head. How much do you think it costs? How much money do you get for one performance of this play?"
Gugu: "I don't know. As long as I have enough money to live with Zoo from day to day, that's fine."
Zaruba: “Gugu, how many rags can you make in a day by stepping on the sewing machine with those blind feet of yours?”
Google: “Just 100 pieces a day.”
Zarba: “So how much does it cost?”
Gugu: “One egg and a loaf of bread.”
Zaruba: ``The amount of money I make is six different digits. In one day, I can collect all the chickens in the world, or the skilled bakers in the world, and buy them all.''
Gugu: “No matter how much money you have, the size of your belly won’t change. I think you have forgotten the joy of sharing a loaf of bread or an egg with me when you were little. Kindness.”
Zarba: "That's just a poor man's nonsense. You said earlier that I gave up on my dreams, but dreams do exist. I have big dreams that I couldn't even imagine back then. Listen. , Gugu. In this play, I'm going to collect money from all over the world. It's money that will keep me going even if I live a million times. And I'm going to use that money to feed people all over the world on the biggest table in the world. We'll set it up. It'll be a feast where the edge of the table doesn't look like the horizon. Can you imagine that? We'll invite you, your daughter, and all the scum that betrayed our trust. But... I don't touch the feast at all, and only eat one loaf of bread and one egg, which seems to be the norm. And I spit on the rest of the meal.''
Gugu: “Why would you do such a useless thing?”
Zarba: "It's revenge. I'm going to step on the person who looked down on us and stepped on us again. I'm going to laugh at the person who turned his back on the hope and trust we believed in and betrayed us."
Gugu: "Is that your true dream? Are you happy? Didn't you end up with that guy? He turned into a dirty guy."
Zarba: "Say whatever you want. Listen, Gugu. I can't make you wear red shoes anyway. It's impossible."
Gugu: “Why?”
Zarba: “I told you, you only get to wear red shoes once in your life.”
Gugu: “Still, I wanna wear them again.”
Zarba: “you'll going to die.”
Gugu “I Don’t care
Zarba: "I'll take care of it. I don't have that kind of time to waste, and there's only one pair of red shoes in the world. And it's impossible to build a foundation."
Gugu: “Nothing?”
Zaruba: “This girl is already wearing them.”
Ellie: “Hey, Zaruba, what are you talking about?”
Gugu: “Are you wearing these shoes somehow?”
Ellie: “I don’t know.”
Zarba: Ellie, you want to be the best tap dancer in the world. You told me that while crying in the pouring rain, right?
Ellie: “I told you. I told you so.”
Zarba: “In order to make your dreams come true, you have to give something.”
Ellie: “What are you offering?”
Zarba: “Ask this muddy, barefoot Cinderella.”
Ellie: “Gugu, please explain.”
Gugu: Those shoes are the shoes that will pave the way for you to become the best tap dancer in the world. That's not a lie. But it doesn't just happen the moment you put them on. Practice. Practice like hell. The demands become more and more intense. You don't even have time to sleep, and even when your fingernails bleed, you don't let yourself rest. It's like those shoes. These are creepy shoes that look like they're getting more and more red with blood."
Zarba: "Shut up! These shoes aren't creepy shoes! These are my brother's shoes. He practiced even when he was sleeping to make me smile when we don't have any money. I'm a shitty theater manager and I'm from the slums. I was never allowed to audition just because I was an orphan, but I was by far the best tap dancer in the world.''
Gugu: “I’ve never heard of you like that.”
Zarba: "What's the point? You'll just get sympathy that won't amount to a penny. I don't need that."
Gugu: “How is your brother doing?”
Zarba: "He's dead. Sneak into this theater, jump from the ceiling of the stage, and dye his white tap shoes bright red. That's his first and last performance."
Ellie: “What are those shoes?”
Zarba: "Oh, those are the shoes you're wearing right now."
Ellie: “What will happen if I take off these shoes?”
Gugu: ``You'll be able to dance in front of you. Not only that, but you ll be possible not to walk unless You use a cane. If You're not good at it, You'll lose your leg.''
Ellie: "Zarba! I never said anything like that! No! I don't wanna take such a cursed shoes!"
Zaruba: “Why do you think an amateur with just cute face like you can perform on such a huge stage? Do you really think you would have been able to tap like you do now without those shoes?”
Ellie: “That’s…”
Zarba: ``You have two choices. You can either become the world's best tap dancer and be admired by me and the world, or you can lose your legs and spend the rest of your life being ridiculed in a show shanty.''
Ellie: “No way, I…”
Zarba: I don't know why those shoes have such power. But my brother was the kindest person in the world. That's why he continued to believe in everyone. I can't imagine how painful that must be in his life. Do you want to know? Every time you turn your back on your trust, you'll feel the pain of tearing your body apart. Listen, my brother trusted you to make your dreams come true. And if you turn your back on him... That's what Gugu said. And it's so convenient that he still wants to wear red shoes after betraying him. There's not even a single pair of shoes for someone like him to wear! Go home!"
Ellie: "Zaruba, wait a minute. What's the end?"
Zaruba: “what does it mean?”
Ellie: what is the end of the story about these red shoes. What will happen to these shoes when I become the world's best tap dancer? What will happen to me?
Zarba: Well, it's never happened before. But I imagine a future where these red shoes will hear the applause from all over the world. I think you'll be able to take off your red shoes at the moment you return to this town. It'll be so smooth that you'll be surprised."
